The Women's Economic Forum-Kenya (WEF-K), organized by the Community Advocacy and Awareness Trust (CRAWN Trust), held its 2024 edition on February 28th and 29th.
WEF-K is a vibrant platform dedicated to advancing women's economic empowerment through networking, alliance-building, and facilitating access to financial opportunities, markets, and skill-building initiatives.

The event's theme highlighted the importance of developing strategies to position women within the rapidly evolving economic landscape. Participants got to hear presentations from leading women entrepreneurs in Kenya, engaged in panel discussions as well as break-out sessions to cater for varying areas of interest among participants.
The objectives of WEF-K 2024 were multifaceted, aiming to address the challenges and opportunities faced by women in MSMEs. These objectives included embracing collaboration, enhancing access to financial resources, facilitating market linkages, and equipping women with skills necessary for business growth and impact.
