The WEE Hub convened a technical working session for researchers involved in the AGPO research study titled ´Assessing What Works for Implementation of Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO): Making AGPO Work for Women in Kenya.”
The session's purpose was to present research findings and deliberate on recommendations for an upcoming draft policy brief. The study was conducted with the intent of uncovering reasons for the low uptake of AGPO by women and women's enterprises for whom the fund was established. Importantly, the study was a solution-oriented exercise, seeking to answer questions about the underlying causes of the low uptake and exploring strategies to enhance participation among women.
