Original articles are invited for Volume 8 (special) issue No 1 of Pathways to African Feminism and Development on the theme: Harnessing Women's Knowledge, Experiences and Contribution towards Economic Empowerment and Sustainable Development.
The theme allows for a wide range of research or literature reviews on these Sub-themes:
- Feminist Perspectives on Sustainable Development and Women’s Economic Empowerment
- Women’s Thoughts and Experiences in Relation to Sustainable Development; Definition and Importance
- DigitALL the future work: Women and Innovation, Technology in the Fourth Industrial Revolution
- Women's Health: Syndemics, Pandemics and Post Pandemics, Mental Health, Reproductive and Public Health, and Calamities
- Women Experiences with Religion in the Contemporary World
- Women and Agriculture, Food Security, Environment, Climate Change, and Disaster Preparedness for Sustainable Development
- Women's Collective Agency, Self-Mobilisation for Empowerment and Sustainable Development
- Women's Labour Force Participation and Formal Employment for Economic Empowerment and Sustainable Development
- Women and Entrepreneurship for Empowerment and Sustainable Development
- Women and Leadership for Sustainable Development
- Women’s Access to Finance and its Implication for WEE and Sustainable Development.
- National Budgets Policy Statements and their Implication on Sectors that Support Childcare and Women’s Work for Women’s Economic Empowerment and/or Sustainable Development.
Case Studies should be based on real-life situations and highlight decisions taken that can be replicated in other similar situations.
Book Review corner: Book Reviews on recently published books on Women Economic Empowerment and/or sustainable development are welcome.

An article should not exceed seven thousand words; Times New Roman Font 12; Spacing 1.5, both sides justification. 1 inch margin, (both left and right side)
Paper Structure
Title of the paper
Abstract of 250 – 400 words
Keywords below the abstract; in alphabetical order and separated by commas.
Introduction: background and purpose of the paper.
Body: Clearly discuss the major message of your paper with clear line of thought, justification, problem statement and methodology (the approach you used to collect data for your paper); discussion and presentation of your findings, recommendations, and conclusion.
Clarity and Consistency: Please check your manuscript for headings and sub-headings; clarity of expression, repetition, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency of references to minimize editorial changes.
