Kisumu Small Fish Traders Now Ready to Venture into Formal Markets - 5th February 2025

The New Kisumu Small Fish Patel's Women Group is celebrating a significant milestone: the launch of their small fish products into the formal market. The group is now offering ready-to-eat omena and omena porridge flour. According to Chairlady Belinda Odera, this marks a huge step forward, as they have successfully registered their company and obtained KEBS certification.

This allows them to package their products and confidently enter supermarkets, hotels, and other retail outlets. This exciting development follows extensive technology training provided by the WEE Hub, as well as ongoing mentorship from Sweet and Dried Enterprises.
