Prof Kabira and her team present Strategic Plan to Vice Chancellor Prof Stephen Kiama

Launch of AWSC Strategic Plan 2024-2029 - 24th June 2024

On 24th June 2024, the WEE Hub team, led by Prof. Wanjiku Kabira, gathered at the University of Nairobi Campus to officially launch the AWSC Strategic Plan 2024-2029. The Strategic Plan, which outlines the key programs and initiatives for the next five years, was presented to the UoN Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama.

Prof. Kiama commended Prof. Kabira for her exceptional leadership and the significant achievements of the WEE Hub, encouraging her and her team to continue their impactful work as they implement the new strategic initiatives.

The meeting emphasized the importance of the Strategic Plan in advancing the goals of the African Women Studies Center and supporting women's empowerment and studies. The Vice Chancellor expressed his support for the plan and urged the WEE Hub team to diligently pursue the outlined programs.
