Germano Mwabu is a Professor of Economics at the University of Nairobi. He has over 25 years of experience conducting high quality empirical research on issues related to labour, health poverty, and development in Africa. He was the co-director of the AERC project on Poverty Income Distribution and Labour Markets in Sub-Saharan Africa (2003-2005). He has held the position of Senior Research Fellow, Director, Public Goods Project of the World Institute for Development Economics Research at the United Nations University, Helsinki (1996-98) and Associate Professor of Economics at Kenyatta University (1994-96).
