UoN WEE Hub researchers hosted Diva Dhar, the representative of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation at the University of Nairobi Main Campus. The workshop which served as a stock-taking session saw WEE Hub researchers present findings from their respective projects and share impacts achieved as a result of the projects.
Participants got the opportunity to brainstorm on challenges faced and possible solutions to be implemented in the continued implementation of the program.
The team also paid a courtesy call to the UoN Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama who lauded Prof. Kabira and her team for the Hub’s outstanding research work in the area of women’s economic empowerment. He thanked BMGF for their continued support of the Hub as well as other projects under the University of Nairobi funded by the foundation.
