Women entrepreneurs who had undergone technology training on value addition for bananas, cashew nuts, fish, cassava, and honey from Kilifi, Kwale, Kitui, Kisumu, and Meru counties under the Women in Business Project, exhibited at the Kenya Food Event held at the Sarit Centre, Nairobi.

The women had an opportunity to exhibit their products, market, sell, and network with other international exhibitors in various food categories. The three-day event was opened on September 5, 2023, and ran for three days until September 7th, 2023. The UoN WEE Hub Director of Research, Dr. Mary Mbithi, delivered a presentation at the plenary to explain the incubation model, its process, and intermediate results.
