WEE Hub Leader Prof. Wanjiku Kabira and her team visited women’s groups in Kilifi and Kwale counties who have been going through mentorship under the Women’s Business Incubation Project. The groups earlier went through technology training for value addition for their products.
The event was held in Homa Bay and was presided over by the FIrst Lady H.E Rachael Ruto and hosted by Governor Gladys Wanga, Governor Homa Bay County.

The group is now offering ready-to-eat omena and omena porridge flour. According to Chairlady Belinda Odera, this marks a huge step forward, as they have successfully registered their company and obtained KEBS certification.
