The African Women's Studies Center (AWSC) concluded a two-day workshop focused on strengthening its capacity to implement the Women in Leadership project, an initiative under the Co-impact. This project, currently in its design phase, aims to increase women's representation in leadership positions within the University of Nairobi's Department of Economics.
The New Kisumu Small Fish Patel's Women Group is celebrating a significant milestone: the launch of their small fish products into the formal market. The group is now offering ready-to-eat omena and omena porridge flour. According to Chairlady Belinda Odera, this marks a huge step forward, as they have successfully registered their company and obtained KEBS certification.
